On October 9, 2013 Century Iron Mines Corporation hosted more than 100 industry leaders, investment brokers, financial analysts and private investors for a half-day conference focused on iron ore, the demand for steel, and the Chinese market.
Chinese Steel Driving the Global Iron Ore Industry featured presentations on the state of the world iron ore market, insights on the Chinese economy and little-known facts about the opportunity for Direct Shipping Ore (DSO).
Attendees at this exclusive event benefited from hearing directly from international experts, senior government representatives from Quebec and Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as executives from global Fortune 500 Chinese corporations and banking institutions.
The conference was a great opportunity to learn more about the world iron ore market and the significance of China and Chinese investment in the industry in Canada. Century Iron looks forward to its next conference in 2014.
